Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using any services provided by Das Taxis. By booking or using our taxi services—whether by phone, in person, online, or through any other means—you agree to be legally bound by the terms outlined below.

2. Booking & Confirmation
- Bookings can be made via phone, email, our website, or in person.
- It is your responsibility to provide accurate details including pickup location, drop-off point, time, date, number of passengers, and luggage requirements.
- A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from us (via SMS, email, or verbally).
- For airport transfers and long-distance journeys, we recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All fares are quoted and charged in GBP (£).
- Pricing is based on distance, time of day, vehicle type, and any special services requested.
- You will be informed of the fare estimate or fixed rate during booking.
- Payments can be made via cash, debit/credit card, contactless payment, or prepayment via bank transfer or invoice.
- We do not charge extra for late-night or early-morning services; however, additional charges may apply for waiting time, additional stops, or excess luggage.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- You may cancel your booking at least 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time for local trips and at least 6 hours prior for airport or long-distance transfers without any penalty.
- If cancelled within the above windows, any prepaid amount will be refunded in full.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to full or partial charges to cover costs.
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days.
5. Waiting Time & Delays
- For airport pickups, we offer up to 45 minutes of free waiting time after your flight has landed. Additional time may incur a charge.
- For local pickups, we allow up to 10 minutes free waiting time. After this, extra waiting charges may apply.
- If you are delayed (e.g., baggage issues, customs), please contact us immediately to update your driver.
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other factors beyond our control.
6. Luggage & Personal Items
- Passengers are allowed a reasonable amount of luggage.
- Please inform us in advance if you have large or heavy luggage, mobility aids, or equipment (e.g., pushchairs, musical instruments).
- While our drivers will assist with loading/unloading, you are responsible for your personal belongings.
- Das Taxis is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during the journey.
7. Passenger Conduct
- All passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards the driver and vehicle.
- No smoking, vaping, or consumption of alcohol or drugs is allowed in our vehicles.
- The driver reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a journey if a passenger’s behavior is deemed unsafe, aggressive, or inappropriate.
- Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger may result in a cleaning or repair fee, which will be charged to the person who made the booking.
8. Child Safety & Special Requirements
- Please let us know at the time of booking if you require child or booster seats. We provide these upon request in accordance with UK safety laws.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Passengers with disabilities or special mobility needs should inform us when booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.
9. Business & Corporate Accounts
- Businesses can open a corporate account with agreed terms for regular travel, monthly invoicing, and dedicated support.
- Any invoices must be paid within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Failure to pay on time may result in the suspension of services and late payment fees.
10. Liability Disclaimer
- Das Taxis shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including missed flights, delays, or loss of income.
- Our liability for direct damages shall not exceed the total fare paid for the trip in question.
- While we make every effort to provide timely, clean, and safe service, we do not guarantee arrival times due to factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, accidents, weather).
11. Force Majeure
Das Taxis is not responsible for failure to perform any obligations under these Terms where such failure is due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Strikes
- Acts of terrorism
- Road closures
- Vehicle breakdowns
12. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and store personal data (e.g., name, contact number, pickup/drop-off location) solely for the purpose of managing your booking.
Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR standards. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
